- Membership of LOGOTRI are divided into three categories: Full members,
Associate members and Honorary members.

- Full members are local government training and research institutes in
Asia and the Pacific whose primary focus is on training of and research on local
government.

- Associate members are local government training research institutes
from outside the Asian and Pacific region, university departments or other
institutes, networks and organisations, within and outside the region which deal
with human settlements, public administration etc., whose involvement or
affiliation with the Network will be to its benefit.

- An Honorary membership may be conferred upon individuals who have made
distinguished contributions to the Network or to the promotion of the vision,
mission and objectives of the Network.

- Only full members can vote for or hold elected offices of the Network.
